Upcoming Biosolids Hauling

The Salmon Creek Treatment Plant operations team is currently coordinating the annual summer biosolids hauling season (see steps 6 and 7 below under "What Happens at the Treatment Plant"). The hauling is scheduled to begin around August 5 and last for about three weeks, though that may shift by a few days depending on weather and other variables. Daily truck traffic will be steady during this time as we make approximately 15-20 round trips each day between 7:00 am and 6:00 pm. You may notice intermittent odors through this process as we load and haul the biosolids. We appreciate your understanding and encourage you to contact us if you have any questions or concerns. For more information, contact Travis Capson, Clark County Wastewater Operations Manager at (208) 573-3985 or (564) 397-1713, or via e-mail at Travis.Capson@clark.wa.gov.
